Statutory Means Test

Under Zanzibar legal aid regulations, pro bono services are prioritized for indigent individuals, widows, orphans, and vulnerable workers, assessed against monthly household income:

• Under 300,000 TZS — 100% fully subsidized
• 300,000 – 500,000 TZS — Free legal clinic
• 500,000 – 800,000 TZS — Subsidized review
• Above 800,000 TZS — Special hardship review only
